This picturesque 1,220 acre park is located on the banks of 45,000 acre Lake Eufaula, otherwise known as the “Bass Capital” of The World”. The park has a lodge, convention center, modern campground, vacation cabins & lakeside cottages, picnic areas, 18-hole golf course & a marina complete with launch facilities & boat slips.
Campground provides 245 improved campsites. Deer Court has pull through sites including H2O, electricity & sewage. Barbour & Clark Loop sites include H2O & electricity. Camping services available include: bathhouses located in each camping area, a sanitary station available for your convenience; camper storage; a Community Building available to reserve for campers’ functions, tennis courts, & children’s playground.
The Camp Store provides supplies, snacks, drinks & a laundry.

Local Area Sightseeing:
Located in the historic ante-bellum town of Eufaula, Lakepoint is near several interesting attractions. Within a five-to-ten mile radius are Shorter Mansion, a furnished neo-classical home housing a museum; Fendall Hall; & the Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge. The famous annual Eufaula Pilgrimage of Homes offers a lovely tour each spring of the town’s historic houses & an antique show & sale. Other sightseeing is within a fifty-to-sixty mile radius & includes Westville, Georgia, a functioning 1850’s pioneer village; Providence Canyon State Park; Fort Gaines; Walter F. George Lock & Dam; & Fort Rucker’s U.S. Army Aviation Museum, the largest aircraft display of its kind. |
