The overnight accommodations, recreational facilities, & planned activities are accessible to member families, their guests, visiting members from other private resorts hosted through our affiliate travel programs, & to certain non-members on a one-time visit basis by invitation, as a way of introducing them to Mountain Lakes Resort.
Non-members are welcome to browse this site & to contact us for information regarding the availability of memberships. Also, we have made it easy for you to pay us a one-time visit to check us out. As an affiliate of RESORTS OF DISTINCTION & ADVENTURE OUTDOOR RESORTS, Mountain Lakes routinely hosts visiting members from hundreds of other private resorts affiliated with these reciprocal programs. Likewise, Mountain Lakes members who maintain membership in Resorts of Distinction (ROD) and/or Adventure Outdoor Resorts (AOR) are hosted by the other affiliate resorts scattered throughout the US & spilling over into Canada & Mexico.
Mountain Lakes Resort is located on the Tennessee River's 68,000 acre Guntersville Lake. The lake is noted for its speedboat races, fishing tournaments & other H2O sports. Only seven miles away is the Guntersville State Park Lodge & Convention Center & 18 hole golf course. The Huntsville Space Center, Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga's famous aquarium, Cathedral Caverns, & numerous other popular attractions are within easy driving distance.
