As the primary park attraction, Lake Jackson, in addition to providing outstanding fishing & swimming opportunities, also features shoreline picnic areas. Lakefront camping sites with cable TV hookups & a nice modern bathhouse make it a great camping destination. There's a natural island, with a boardwalk & walking path, for the explorer in you.
Facilities at Frank Jackson State Park include a handicap accessible bathhouse, picnic pavilion/shelter & walkway located adjacent to the campground. There are twenty-six pull-through campsites, three of which are handicap accessible. In addition to these sites there are five tent sites with water. |
