Campground: Chicken Gold Camp & Outpost
Relaxing retreat in historical Chicken within walking distance of all the area's attractions. You can tour the historical Pedro Dredge, which mined gold from 1938 to 1967, & the host's operating gold mine both of which are in the park. Other activities including gold panning, tours, hiking, fishing & kayaking. The Park amenities include WiFi internet, a large group pavilion, a gift store/gallery of local crafts & jewelry & an internet cafe serving homemade entries, espresso, smoothies & ice cream. You will also find cabin & kayak rentals. The Chicken Gold Camp hosts, who have traveled the State for 30 years, are dedicated to providing you with a memorable Alaska experience & comfortable stay.
