Campground: Davis Dam

Description: Completed in 1953, the primary purpose of Davis Dam is to re-regulate Hoover Dam releases to meet downstream needs including delivery of H2O to Mexico as stipulated by the 1944 Mexican Treaty. Sixty-seven mile-long Lake Mohave, created by the dam, provides recreation & habitat for fish & wildlife. Camping at nearby Katherine Landing or at Davis Dam Campground. Location: Two miles north of Laughlin, Nevada via US 95 & Hwy. 163 Season: year round. Fee: no. Reservations: no.
