Campground: Descanso Ranger District, El Prado Campground
Description: 5{evation. five group campsites in the Laguna Recreation Area can accomodate between 30-50 people. one group area is accessible. Part of the campground is fenced off to protect the habitat of the Laguna Skipper Butterly. Please respect this closure. Location: East of El Cajon on I-8, exit at Sunrise Highway (CA S1), & go 15 miles north. Season: May - October Biking Fishing Picnicking Hiking/Backpacking Scenic Driving Winter Sports Wildlife Viewing Group Campgnd RV Sites Drinking Water Dump Station Restrooms Notes: 40-foot maximum RV length or length of trailer + vehicle. No wood or charcoal fires allowed in the forest; only fuel-fed stoves & lanterns permitted. Adventure Pass required to park elsewhere in the forest. Reservations must be made at least four days in advance.
