| Description: 5600-foot elevation. 104 group campsites in the Laguna Recreation Area. Part of the campground is fenced off to protect the habitat of the endangered Laguna skipper butterfly; please respect this closure.
Location: East of San Diego on I-8, exit at Sunrise Highway (CA S1), & go 13 miles north, just past the 26 Mile Marker.

Notes: 45-foot maximum RV length or length of trailer + vehicle. No wood or charcoal fires allowed in the forest; only fuel-fed stoves & lanterns permitted. Adventure Pass required to park elsewhere in the forest. Reservations must be made at least four days in advance. Sites 3, 5, 6, & eight are restricted to two people per site.
