Description: 6000-foot elevation. A single group area in the Laguna Recreation Area, which can accomodate up to 110 people. Hiking on the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail. Location: East of San Diego on I-8, exit at Sunrise Highway (CA S1), & go 11 miles north. Season: year round. Available: Picnicking Hiking/Backpacking Camping Wildlife Viewing Group Campgnd RV Sites Drinking Water Restrooms. Notes: 45-foot maximum RV length or length of trailer + vehicle. No wood or charcoal fires allowed in the forest; only fuel-fed stoves & lanterns permitted. Adventure Pass required to park elsewhere in the forest. Reservations must be made at least three days in advance.
