| Description: 5300-foot elevation. Group site near Hume Lake accomodates up to 100 people. A campfire circle allows for convivial gatherings. Conveniences, including rentals, at the lake. This campground is within the Giant Sequoia National Monument. Trails in the monument, open to hikers, horses, & bikes (outside the wilderness areas), wind through giant sequoia groves, up mountains, & alongside wild rivers.
Location: From Fresno take Highway 180 East to Grants Grove. Drive approximately 12 1/4 miles. Take a right on to Hume Road, & drive four more miles passing Christian Camps. Take a right at the Aspen Hollow sign. Go 3/4 mile reaching the entrance of the campground.
