Campground: San Bernardino National Forest, Big Bear Ranger Station & Discovery Center, Gray's Peak Group Campground

Description: 7132-foot elevation. Group area accomodates up to 40 campers. Popular activities include boating, fishing, & swimming at nearby Big Bear Lake or hiking & biking in the area. Butler Park Fire Lookout is also close. Location: Take I-10 East/CA 330 to Running Springs, then northeast on CA 18 to Bear Lake Dam. Go straight on CA 38 to Fawnskin & left on Rim of the World Drive (3N14) for 1.2 miles to 2N13. Follow 2N13 for a short distance to the campground. Season: May - September Picnicking Scenic Driving Camping Wildlife Viewing Drinking Water RV Sites Restrooms Notes: 40-foot maximum RV or trailer length. No campfires or charcoal fires, only campstoves allowed for cooking. Reservations must be made at least three days in advance. Please pack out your trash.
