Description: 6900-foot elevation. 132 campsites, including 16 double campsites which accomodate up to 16 people, & 29 RV sites with electric & sewer hookups. Some sites are wheelchair-accessible. Popular activities include boating & fishing on Big Bear Lake, driving the Gold Fever Trail, & hiking or mountain biking area trails. Location: From Running Springs, go east on CA 18 to Bear Dam & do not cross Dam, but continue straight on CA 38, then turn right to the campground. Season: year round. Fee: +$10 hookups. Available: Biking Picnicking Boating (Motorized) Hiking/Backpacking Scenic Driving Horseback Riding Group Campgnd RV Sites Drinking Water Dump Station Restrooms Campgnd, Developed Showers. Notes: 45-foot maximum RV length. No campfires or charcoal fires, only campstoves allowed for cooking. The camping fee includes entry for one vehicle & one legally towed vehicle. Reservations must be made at least one days in advance.
