| Description: 4000-foot elevation. 30 campsites & a group camping area for 15-20 people near the Sespe Wilderness. Trailhead for the Reyes Creek Trail & the Gene Marshall-Piedra Blanca National Recreation Trail. Fishing & wading in Reyes Creek.
Location: From Taft, go eight miles south on CA 33, & continue south 13 miles on CA 33/CA 166. Turn south to stay on CA 33, & go about 20 miles, then go five miles east on Lockwood Valley Road & south on Forest Road 7N11.
Season: year round, may close in wet weather.
Fee: Adventure Pass required.

Notes: Maximum RV length 22 feet. Adventure Pass required to park anywhere in the Mount Pinos Ranger District. Any kind of open flame use, including use of camp stoves or smoking, requires a free Campfire Permit from the ranger station. |
