Description: eight single campsites & a group area which can accomodate up to 75 people. Riding in the Santa Rosa Wilderness. Not all the Santa Rosa Wilderness is in public ownership, so be sure to use a current agency map or GPS data. Corrals & troughs are available for horses. Location: From Palm Desert, go south on CA 74, then take the first left past Pinyon Pines. Season: May - September. Reservations: NO. Available: Picnicking Hiking/Backpacking Horseback Riding Hunting Camping Wildlife Viewing Group Campgnd RV Sites Drinking Water Restrooms Notes: Maximum RV length 15 feet. No campfires or charcoal fires, only campstoves allowed for cooking. Adventure Pass required to park anywhere in the forest.
