Description: Elevation 6,000 feet. 17 campsites in lower campground, 35 sites in upper campground. Stream is stocked weekly. Hiking in the John Muir wilderness. Location: From Independence, go six miles west on Market Street. Enter one of two gates. Season: March - October Fishing Picnicking Hiking/Backpacking Wildlife Viewing Drinking Water RV Sites Restrooms Notes: Maximum RV length 40 feet. Reservations must be made at least four days in advance.
