| Description: eight campsites on Lion Canyon Creek, in the Rose Valley Recreation Area. HIking into the Sespe Wilderness. Start of Lion Canyon Trail to Nordhoff Ridge & Rose Valley Lake (via Rose-Lion Connector Trail). After going in 1.9 miles, East Fork Lion & West Fork Lion Camps are .5 miles off this trail. Stock trailers not advised beyond Sespe Road junction, .8 miles from campground.
Location: From Ojai, go 15 miles north on CA 33, turn right on Sespe Road. Go five miles, turn right & go nearly one mile to campground.
Season: year round; closures due to wet weather.
