| Description: 2800-foot elevation. one group area can accomodate up to 50 people. This makes a good base camp for visiting the Palomar Observatory visitor center, Palomar Mountain State Park, or for exploring the surrounding forest.
Location: From Warner Springs, go south on CA 79, then northwest on CA 76, then north on County Road S6 to the top of Palomar Mountain.
