Campground: Santa Barbara Ranger District, Los Prietos Campground
Description: 37 campsites, including some tent-only. White Rock Day Use has river access ΒΌ mile away. Excellent river access to the Santa Ynez River along the last six miles of Paradise Road. Trout planted in the river in springtime. Location: From Santa Barbara on US 101, go ten miles northwest on CA 154, then 3.7 miles east on Paradise Road. Season: April - October. Amenities: Fishing Picnicking Hiking/Backpacking Water Sports Camping Drinking Water RV Sites Restrooms. Notes: Watch out for poison oak. Maximum RV length 30 feet. Be sure to check fire restrictions before you camp; many areas require campstoves or other contained fuel sources for cooking & light.
