Campground: Santa Barbara Ranger District, Los Padres National Forest, Paradise Campground
Description: 15 campsites in Lower Santa Ynez Recreation Area, including two double sites, which can accomodate up to 16 people each. The campground is usually full on weekends during deer hunting season, mid August through late September. TAccess to river available via tunnel beneath Paradise Road to White Rock day use area. Location: From Santa Barbara on US 101, go nine miles northwest on CA 154, right on Paradise Road. Season: year round; may close in wet weather. Available: Biking Fishing Picnicking Hiking/Backpacking Horseback Riding Hunting Water Sports Camping Wildlife Viewing Group Campgnd RV Sites Interpretive Programs Drinking Water Restrooms. Notes: Maximum RV length 40 feet. Be sure to check fire restrictions before you camp; many areas require campstoves or other contained fuel sources for cooking & light.
