Description: 5200-foot elevation. eight campsites on the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail & one mile from the Burnt Peak trailhead. Location: From Castaic, turn northeast on Lake Hughes Rd. & drive 27 miles to the town of Lake Hughes. Turn left (northwest) on Pine Canyon Road (County Rd. N2) & drive to Sawmill Mountain (northwest) on Sawmill Mountain-Liebre Ridge Rd. about ten miles to the campground. Season: year round. Fee: Adventure Pass required. Reservations: NO. Available: Picnicking Hiking/Backpacking Camping Wildlife Viewing RV Sites Restrooms. Notes: Treat stream H2O before using, if it is available. Maximum RV length 16 feet. Please pack out your trash.
