| Description: 7000-foot elevation. 27 campsites, including one double & one wheelchair-accessible site.
Location: From San Bernardino, take CA 18 about 20 miles to Lake Arrowhead turnoff. Take CA 173 for five miles to northeast side of the lake. Turn right on Hospital Road & follow it to the campground.
Season: May - October.
Available: Picnicking Hiking/Backpacking Camping Wildlife Viewing Group Campgnd RV Sites Drinking Water Restrooms. Notes: 22-foot maximum RV length or length of vehicle with trailer. No campfires or charcoal fires, only campstoves allowed for cooking. The camping fee includes entry for one vehicle & one legally towed vehicle. Reservations must be made three days in advance & the campground requires a 3-night minimum stay on holidays. Adventure Pass required to park anywhere else in the forest. |
