Description: 63 miles from a dusty canyon up to a cool, lake-speckled evergreen forest at over 11,000 feet. Camping, hiking, wildlife viewing, fishing in the forest. Location: CO 65 from the town of Cedaredge to I-70, with a westward spur road to Lands End. Season: year round. Fee: for some sites on the route. Reservations: no.
