Description: 7700-foot elevation. six campsites, including walk-in tent sites near the Poudre River, in the upper Poudre River Canyon. Campground is adjacent to bighorn sheep viewing area & Poudre River hatchery. Nearby trailheads for Roaring Creek trail & for Zimmerman trail through Comanche Peak wilderness. Location: From Fort Collins, go 49 miles west on CO 14. Season: May - September. Reservations: NO.
