Campground: Dowdy Lake Campground
Description: 8100-foot elevation. 62 campsites, including ten walk-in, tent only sites, & double sites which can accomodate up to 16 people. Nonmotorized or electric boats (up to ten mph) permitted on the lake. Location: From Fort Collins, go 24 miles north on US 287, 24 miles west on County Road 74, then 0.5 mile east & north on Forest Road 218. Season: May - October.
