Campground: Conejos Campground
Description: 8700-foot elevation. 24 campsites on the Conejos River. Gold Medal trout fishing (fly-fishing only) in the river. Hiking on nearby Ruybalid & Notch trails. Either this or Conejos campground will stay open until mid-November for hunting season & fall color viewing. Ice fishing on Spectacle Lake in winter. Location: From Antonito, go 23 miles west on CO 17, then seven miles north on Forest Road 250. Season: May - September. Reservations: NO.
