Campground: Elk Creek Campground
Description: 8500-foot elevation. 34 campsites & 14 primitive sites on the Conejos River. Gold Medal trout fishing (fly-fishing only) in the river. Hiking on numerous area trails. Location: From Antonito, go 23 miles west on CO 17, then less than one mile north on Forest Road 250. Season: May - September. Reservations: NO.
