| Description: Discover incredible fishing at one of the state`s largest reservoirs. Rainbow, brown & cutthroat trout, kokanee salmon, northern pike, small-mouth bass & carp are all found within the waters of this 3,400-acre reservoir. Other activities inlcude camping, scenic vistas, uncrowded boating & ideal wind conditions for sailing & windsurfing. Trails include a short hiking trail & a nature trail. The campground offers 350 sites, which range from primitive tent sites to RV sites with full hookup. Waterfowl hunting in season.
Location: From Colorado Springs, go 38 miles west on US 24 to one mile west of the town of Lake George, then turn left (south) on County Road 90 & drive for six miles to County Road 92. Continue south on CR 92 for five miles to the park.
