| Description: Barbour Ponds features 60 campsites, great fishing for rainbow trout, catfish, crappie & bass, & excellent bird watching for waterfowl & many other species. During the winter, Barbour Ponds serves as a home to bald eagles. Hiking on a nature trail. Anglers & boaters are advised to use small vessels at wakeless speeds (watercrafts that are hand-propelled or driven by an electric trolling motor) on the ponds. Inflatable devices that contain two or more chambers are also allowed.
Location: Exit I-25 on Colorado 119 west, then north on County Road seven until it ends into County Road 24 1/2.
Season: year round.
