Campground: Camp Hale East Fork Group Campground
Description: 9200-foot elevation. Group area can accomodate up to 200 people. Hiking, mountain biking, & horseback riding on the Colorado Trail. Camp Hale is on the register of National Historic Places. Snowmobiling on area roads & trails in winter. Location: From Minturn, go 17 miles south on US 24, then two miles east on Old Highway. Season: May - September.
