| Located in northeast Florida midway between Gainesville & Jacksonville, six miles north of Keystone Heights on S.R. 21.
Facilities & Activities: overlooking Little Lake Johnson.
RV's: campsites offer H2O, electricity, & a ground grill & picnic table. A dump station is in close proximity for your use. The Sandhill & Lakeview camps can accommodate RV’s up to 45’ in length.
Full Facility Camping:
Family Camping: 74 individual campsites available within three campgrounds. Will accommodate tents, trailers & motorized campers up to 40 in length. Each site includes a picnic table, grill & water. Lakeview sites 57 through 67 do not have electric hook up.
Primitive Camping: two primitive campsites located within the southern end of the park just off the Florida Trail. These sites include a picnic table, fire ring & a pavilion. There is no H2O or electricity in the primitive campground.
Group Camping: three group campsites available for organized groups such as churches, scouts, family reunions & civic clubs. Each site has shared access to H2O, an outside cold H2O shower & restroom with flush toilets. No electric is available. Also provided are picnic tables & a ground fire ring. Each site will accommodate 25 people. Group campsites are equipped for tent camping only.

Canoeing
Equestrian Trail
A seven mile trail ride along the sandhills & scrubs. Trail rated intermediate because of soft sand on the trail. Current negative Coggins must be presented at Ranger Station when registering.
Fishing is permitted at Gold Head. Licenses are required.
Nature Trails: four marked trails.
Picnicking: large picnic area overlooking "Little Lake Johnson". The area contains many tables & grills as well as an athletic field, volleyball net & horseshoe pits.
Shelters available, can accommodate 16 to 100 people. All picnic pavilions have tables & grills.
Playground is centrally located in the picnic area.
Swimming: designated swimming area; no lifeguard is on duty.
