Enota is rated to be in the top 100 camping destinations in the country. FULL SERVICE RETREAT CENTER FOR UP TO 250 Enota located at the highest private elevation in Georgia in a lush valley among the highest mountains in North Georgia, in the shadow of Brasstown Bald whose elevation is 4780'! Enota is centrally located between White, Union & Towns counties & the towns of Helen, Blairsville, Hiawassee & Young Harris. All the delicate beauty of nature has been preserved with four breathtaking waterfalls, five bubbling streams, & two trout ponds. We are surrounded on all sides by the mountains of the Chattahoochee National Forest. Enota is a North Georgia Mountain RV Retreat Campground, centrally located 14 miles from Helen, Hiawassee, Blairsville, Young Harris & we are nearby Dahlonega, Murphy, Clayton, & Blue Ridge. Brasstown Bald, our nearest neighbor & the highest point in Georgia, is only three miles away. We are nestled deep in the Chattahoochee National Forest. With four waterfalls & five streams on the property, H2O is always near by. Our summer is very cool & comfortable. 30 & 50 Amp Sites on the Stream & Nicely Shaded Enota only has 33 sites on the 60 acres. We keep all of sites natural without disturbing the land. Reservations are site specific. Most of our sites are right on the stream, nicely shaded, & come with a level concrete pad. All of our sites come with a large wooden deck, picnic table, outdoor grill & fire pit. All include electrical, H2O, & sewage hookups (no cable) with 30 or 50 amp. Full Hookup with Water, Electric, & Sewer Enota's RV sites are highly regarded by the rating agencies. We are on Woodall's Best of the Best nationwide list & Trailer Life's Top 100 in the nation lists. Grill, Fire Ring, & Picnic Table on Each Site Pricing is $34 per night for stream-side sites & $30 per night for sites off the stream. These prices are for up to two adults & two children. Additional adults are $10 per night & additional children are $5 per night. Enota is pet friendly. There is a small charge of $5 per night per pet while camping. Nice Big Wooden Decks with Sitting Areas Newly remodeled bath house is handicap accessible & provides private showers with lots of hot H2O & all other modern conveniences including a laundry facility. BIG RIG & RALLY FRIENDLY Enota is a non-profit conservation facility & does not charge taxes. In order to keep the facility private in the middle of the national forest there is a $10 per site per stay conservation fee. One of our streams flows from a beautiful two-stage waterfall that is nearly 400 feet tall while another cascades 125 feet from an old stone dam that retains a small, clear pond; a perfect place to relax, reflect, & enjoy nature. Paths from long ago wander about the Retreat & into the forest. Follow one of the old logging trails (approx. 1.5 miles ) right up Clay Gap to the Appalachian Trail which is just above Enota Mountain Retreat.
