Campground: Beauty Creek Campground
Description: 2100-foot elevation. 15 campsites, eight picnic sites, one group site which accomodates up to 50 people. Picnic areas as well as camping area are accessible. Close access by road to a remote arm of Lake Coeur d`Alene. Fishing in the lake for northern pike, chinook salmon, & bass. Closest boat ramp is Mineral Ridge, less than one mile away. Trailhead for the Caribou Ridge National Recreation Trail. Location: From Coeur d`Alene, go east on I-90 to Exit 22, & go south on ID 97 2.5 miles to Forest Road 438, & go east one mile. Season: May - September.
