Campground: Baumgartner Campground
Description: 5100-foot elevation. 29 campsites on the South Fork of the Boise River. Wade & fish in the river. 111-degree Farenheit hot springs next to the campground. Signed nature trail offers some natural history for the geologic attractions of the area. Other, more extensive trails branch out to the north & south. Loop trips from here can be suited to any hiking or packing ability. Location: From Fairfield, go north 18 miles on Forest Road 094 & west 19 miles on FR 337. Season: May - September. Fee: yes.
