| Description: 6300-foot elevation. 24 campsites on Pebble Creek, including three horse sites, a group area (up to 175), two double sites (up to 16 campers) & one triple site (up to 24). Some sites have shade from the surrounding pines. A nature trail offers the chance to learn a little about the surrounding area. The campground has been newly renovated, & many sites are accessible. The trailhead for the Boundary Trail is adjacent to the campground. The trail, open to multiple use, crosses Inkom Pass. There are ten parking spots at the trailhead for those who just wish to use the trail. There are corrals for equestrians.
This is a good trailhead for alpine / nordic skiing in the winter.
Location: From Lava Hot Springs go ten miles north on Bancroft Highway, then about nine miles west on Forest Road 036, a good gravel road.
