Campground: Union Grove State Park
The beach offers unsupervised swimming fun for all ages. The lake is a fine place to fish. Anglers can look forward to good catches of crappies, bluegills, catfish, bass & bullheads. Any size boat motors may be operated at no-wake speeds. Two boat ramps provide convenient lake access. Union Grove State Park, located in northwest Tama County, is a very popular outdoor recreation area. The park was established in 1938. Its focal point is beautiful 110-acre Union Grove Lake.
