| Arndt's Aroostook River Lodge & Campground is situated on the banks of the Aroostook River, just four miles from the commercial center of Presque Isle. Families staying at our campground can take canoe trips ranging from only a few miles for the novice, to overnight trips starting at the headwaters of the Aroostook River seventy miles away. We have a canoe livery & a shuttle service to take you upriver for a leisurely float back to the campground.
Our full service campground facilities include 45 R. V. sites with H2O & electrical hook-ups, 20 tent sites, a 20 ft. X 40 ft. in-ground pool, a dump station, laundry & shower facility, campground store, a recreational hall & ten full service sites with H2O, electric & sewer hook-ups. We also have a four person rental cabin available at the campground. The cabin features two double beds(no linens), a small corner table & an electric light. Water is only about 20 feet away, & bathroom facilities are available in our bath house, which is only a short walk. |
