| Location - The park is five miles southeast of Grantsville, Western Maryland, in the heart of the Savage River State Forest.

Pets - Please note that pets are not permitted at New Germany State Park.
Camping - There are 37 individual campsites. Modern bathhouses also have hot H2O showers.
Cabins - Eleven cabins are available, all furnished & equipped with electricity, bathrooms with showers, bedding, fireplaces & kitchens.
Shelters - A reservation service charge applies to all pavilion rentals.
Boating - Rowboats, surf bikes, paddle boats & kayaks may be rented for use on the lake.
Winter Activities:
