Campground: Greenbelt Park

Greenbelt Park is a retreat from the pressures of city life & a refuge for native plants & animals just twelve miles from Washington, D.C. The campground includes hot showers, bathroom facilities, & use of the dump station for RV's. There are no electrical or H2O hookups. Greenbelt Park has nine miles of trails. The Perimeter Trail is 5.3 miles & is marked by yellow blazes. The Azalea Trail is 1.1 miles & is marked by white blazes. It begins & ends at the Sweetgum Picnic area located near the entrance of the park. The Dogwood Trail is 1.4 miles & is marked by red blazes. The Blueberry Trail is one mile & is located near the campground area & is marked by blue blazes.
