Campground: Clark Canyon Reservoir
Description: 4,935 surface acres & 17 miles of shoreline. nine campgrounds, including one RV-only lot, contain a total of 96 campsites. Good fishing for rainbow & brown trout. The Cattail Marsh nature trail offers wildlife watching opportunities for seasonal waterfowl. The dam on the Beaverhead River was constructed in 1961 to promote irrigation in the area. Location: From Dillon, go south about 20 miles on I-15. Most campgrounds are on MT Secondary Route 324. Season: year round. Fee: no. Reservations: no.
