Campground: Chisholm Campground
Description: 6700-foot elevation. ten camp sites on 300-acre Hyalite Reservoir, a wonderful canoe lake. Fishing for arctic grayling & cutthroat trout. No wake lake; hand launch boats. Hike around the edge of the lake, to Blackmore lake, & all the way up Mount Blackmore, if you wish. Great mountain biking area on the other side of Hood Creek campground. Location: From Bozeman, go 18 miles south on South 19th Avenue & Hyalite Canyon Road (MT-345 & Forest Road 62). Season: mid-May - mid-September.
