Description: four campsites with a boat ramp on Hungry Horse Reservoir. Boating & fishing for cutthroat trout & whitefish are the most popular activities. You are also welcome to explore area roads on your mountain bike, or to hike into the nearby Bob Marshall Wilderness complex. Ponder the mystery of Baptiste`s grave, the final resting place of an obscure French trapper. Location: From the town of Hungry Horse, go east on US two about 1/2 mile & go south about 37 miles along the east side of Hungry Horse Reservoir on Forest Road 38. Season: Memorial Day - October 1.
