Campground: Crystal Creek Campground
Description: three campsites near Mud Lake. A number of nearby hiking trails climb up into the Bitterroot Mountains. Fishing for cutthroat trout in the creek. To the west, in the Bitterroot, is the Skalkaho Game Preserve, which is a wonderful wildlife watching area. Location: From Philipsburg, go 31 miles southwest on the Skalkaho Highway(MT 38).
