| Description: 5700-foot elevation. 28 campsites on Crystal Lake, in the shadow of Mount Harlow. A large day use area nearby at Grandview caters to day hikers & picnickers. Fishing for rainbow trout; electric motors only on boats. Crystal Lake is a small, shallow, seasonal lake which may get very low in the summer. Hiking on a short loop trail, a wheelchair-accessible nature trail & a slightly longer foot & horse trail which access the Ice Caves on the Snowy Crest.
Location: From Lewistown, take US 87 west about nine miles, then go 16 miles south on Crystal Lake Road, & 8.5 miles south on Forest Road 275.
Season: June 15 - Labor Day.
