Campground: Bluestem State Recreation Area
Anglers especially enjoy this 742-acre state recreation area, situated 2l/2 miles west of Sprague. The 325-acre lake offers diverse action for anglers of all abilities. Opportunity awaits to try for largemouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, walleye, northern pike & wiper among others. Boating is allowed at Bluestem, & boaters find there is easy access to the H2O from strategically located ramps. The 417 acres of land around the lake give hunters plenty of room to maneuver for pheasants, quail, squirrel cottontail rabbit, waterfowl & deer.
