Located only five miles & ten miles respectively from cross-country Highways 81 & 20, Gilman Park offers everything the traveler needs to kick up your feet & relax in a small town setting. Only four electrical hookups are available, but since Pierce isn't on a major highway, the pads are very seldom full. Space for tent camping is nearly unlimited. In addition to the 30A electrical connections, H2O hookups are also available. Picnic tables & cooking grills are present. Showers at the park swimming pool can be used by campers from June 1st to September 1st. Restroom facilities are located within 100 yards of the camping area. A big improvement was made in October 1999 when the camping pads were paved.. |
