Description: Elevation 5600 ft. A splendid recreational complex varying from pinon desert to high mountain ecosystems. A 160 acre reservoir provides H2O recreational opportunities. 29 campsites including ten tent-only sites. Location: 20 miles southeast of Lake Tahoe on the eastern edge of the Sierra Nevada. Take Airport Road off Hwy 89 midway between Woodfords & Markleeville, CA. Season: May - October. Reservations: no.
