Campground: Timber Creek Campground
Description: Elevation 8,500 feet. 12 sites in a timbered setting, including six group camping areas. Four group areas can accomodate up to 50 campers, & two can accomodate up to 100. Campsites located along Timber Creek, in a spruce, fir, & aspen forest. Facilities for horses are available, including corrals. The campground abuts a multiple-use trailhead. Fishing for rainbow, brook, cutthroat, & brown trout. Location: From McGill, go five miles north on US 83, eight miles east on NV 486 (Duck Creek Basin Road), then east on FR 425. Season: June - September.
