We are a small secluded off the beaten path campground.Known for it’s natural beauty Bear Mountain Rustic Campground is a family owned & operated private campground, located 1400 feet in elevation in beautiful Alexandria NH. There are spectacular sunsets & magnificent views of Mt. Cardigan with it’s many hiking trails for exploring. It is the highest peak in the Lakes Region.We are located a few minutes from Wellington State Park on Newfound Lake, (one of the clearest & cleanest lakes in New Hampshire).The State Park is open from dawn to dusk with a small fee for swimming, picnicking, boating & fishing.
