Campground: Elephant Rock Campground
Description: Roadside campground has excellent fishing access to well-stocked Red River, nearby Eagle Rock Lake & hiking into surrounding high country, but can be very crowded during summer weekends. As an alternative, try BLM`s Wild Rivers Recreation Area north of Questa. Location: three miles west of Red River via NM 38 Season: May-September. Fee: YES.
