Campground: Orilla Verde Recreation Area
Description: Camping in five different campgrounds, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, rock climbing & white H2O access on the Rio Grande Wild & Scenic River all draw visitors into this deep canyon site. The Rio Grande Gorge Visitor Center on the Highway 68 at Pilar provides facilities, parking, maps, books & information. The hiking/nature trails are open to both bicycles & horses.
