Once at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ Cherokee in the Smokies, hike or bike to 200’ Mingo Falls, one of Western North Carolina ’s best waterfalls. Follow Big Cove Road about four miles from Acquoni Road to Mingo Falls Campground area & walk the trail (about a five minute hike) to one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the Smokies! Its a 200-foot high jewel. The trail may be damp, the slightly uphill climb may warrant a stop or two, but everyone says the waterfall view from the footrail bridge is definitely worth it. CAUTION: Remain on the trail & bridge.
